Red Sea Development Project

The Red Sea Development is an ambitious project that aims to create a new global tourism destination on the coast of Saudi Arabia. The project covers an area of 28,000 square kilometers and includes plans for luxury resorts, residential areas, and a variety of recreational activities. One of the key goals of the Red Sea Development is to create a sustainable tourism destination that will have a minimal impact on the environment. To achieve this, the project is using a number of innovative technologies and techniques to reduce its carbon footprint and protect the natural habitats of the area. One of the most impressive aspects of the Red Sea Development is its commitment to renewable energy. The project plans to generate all of its electricity from renewable sources, including solar, wind, and hydropower. This will help to reduce the carbon emissions associated with traditional forms of energy production and help to preserve the fragile ecosystems of the area. In addition to its focus o...

Vedic plaster contains cow dung and gypsum among other natural materials according to manufacturers, also curing is not required or necessary as per work. Indian Metro Projects

What is Metro? They are specially designed to run in metropolitan cities while you will see local trains run to connect the city to its suburbs. Why was the need for Metro? With ever-increasing traffic in metropolitan cities and the rise in noise and air pollution made the engineers think of an alternate way to travel in the city itself. The metro trains are set to reduce air and noise pollution by reducing the number of passengers traveling by car and will also reduce the use of fuel per passenger as it runs on electricity. This is not just in India but a world problem. When this concept came to World and India? The first metro started in London, called London Underground public transit in 1863. The best metro in the world is seen in Hong Kong, London, Japan, Russia, South Korea, and many more countries. The first Metro system in India was in Kolkata (1984) but the one which grew or is seen to be the best and busiest is Delhi Metro. The Delhi Metro is the largest metro project which i...

Riverfront Projects

A Step Closer To Environment... Right from old age people in India go for walks, relax and meditate in parks, grounds, and riverside parks with family and friends. With growing infrastructure, these places were not taken into consideration redeveloping or reengineer. Many places started deteriorating and people lost the joy to visit such places.  So with a new vision and looking from many new cities where parks and riverfront are created which in few are artificial, the old places were also now going to redevelopment and re-engineered such as New Riverfront, Parks with proper facilities for elderly and kids. What Riverfronts Actually Are? Riverfronts are places that are directly built near water bodies that provide direct and indirect interaction with nature. They are also called river beautification projects. This provides new paths for a walk, cycling and places to sit and meditate, and even parks that are for kids. Such Projects! 1. Sabarmati Riverfront Development: This w...

Infrastructure Boom In India

After few lockdowns and then Unlocks... India's PM came up with the idea of self-reliant and self-sufficient INDIA -"ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT". This idea of "ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT" made many companies in the infra-sector majorly Government hold Public Sector Units (PSUs) and Private constuction companies started giving orders to Indian Companies, such as the Metal, Cement, and Construction Industry and this gave boast to take the first big step and start a Infra-Boom which I will show in short to you. This attracted many foregin comapnies to invest in India and the companies started working with new energy and flow of liquidity unlike ever in India. This is seen in projects such as: 1) Jammu-Baramulla Railway Project, Himachal to Jammu and Himachal to Leh Road Project. The route will consist of many tunnels and bridges and reduce the travel time. (This will open 2 new routes to Srinagar and a new Route to Leh, this idea came because the roads get block easily due to snow...

Sagarmala Pariyojana

Ocean , the most important transportation way in current time as most of the cargo and oil shipment pass through waterways, we have seen a major development in ports and shipping yards. India has seen a major change in exports and imports pattern which is carried out by shipping. Hence developing and increasing ports and utilities for the shipping industry is seen to be an opportunity for a mega port connectivity project called " Sagarmala Pariyojana ". The Sagarmala Pariyojana is also an initiative by the Indian government along with the Bharatmala Pariyojana . We can't just see both the project individually as both alone don't show any significance to the economic development. Sagarmala will consist of developing 14 Coastal Economic Zones and Coastal Employment Units which overall estimates an $8.5 trillion and aims to boost merchandise exports by $110 billion and generating over 10000000 direct and indirect jobs. With this, the Ministry of Shipping wants to pr...

Bharatmala Pariyojana

In India , after Independence , the government formed a committee to find how the remote area and cities can be connected with each other by roads. The committee recommended plans of funds and research programs to develop roads for all-weather use. The roads were initially divided into 4 parts such as: >Natioanl Highways >State Highways >Major District Roads >Village Roads After many years reforms were made and Expressways were also added to the list and faster construction was assured.  As India is now on a stage where the infrastructure and facilities were much needed and thus new plans were floated. The new government made plans to cementing all the roads which also connects the village road. The New Project which is Bharatmala which means connecting the country link a mala (chain) via roads.  These roads will be connecting: Villages to > Cities to > Market Place to > Ports and Airports  (this is my way to show the connectivity). The Project: The ...

Mumbai Coastal Road Project

Mumbai Coastal Road Project Mumbai is one of the densest city where the ever-increasing traffic have made the city to think on the private car and vehicle on the road. The city has seen growth in both public and private transportation systems where the public system has to increase more than the private system but in the private system even increasing a single percentage will have a vast effect on the traffic. The coastal road project is a target for the private transportation system where it will only increase the private cars on the road and increase the flow. Here we are not going to talk only the cons but this is the points which are to be seen for a project which is this vast and targeted to a large population. The coastal road project was proposed in the year 2015. The coastal road project can be stated as: An 8 Lane Expressway, 12000 crore cost, Connecting Marine Line to Kandivali. The project was also opposed by the environmentalist because the project will have vast reclamatio...
